A few months ago we sent questions to surf shops regarding the industry. Please enter it here” Below is what our good friend Bill from Quality Surfboards Hawaii had to say…

“Surf shops need to start supporting core non-corporate surf brands. They need to lead the way in a sustainable industry. Competing with Macy’s is a lose=lose scenario. All the big corporate brands got there the same way. Hustle to the mom and pop shops, but the up and coming brands are being undercut by the big players. The buyers need to sack up and be different from Big Box.”
